Cook rice with salt & haldi powder; rice must be cooked fully but grainy and not mushy. Strain in a strainer & spread in a big plate This helps to keep the rice grainy & firm.

Heat a pan with 3 tbsp oil on a medium flame add mustard seeds & hing,then add both daal cook on a medium flame until the dals turn golden & aromatic.

Add peanut 🥜 then add dry red chili 🌶️ green chili 🌶️ & curry leaves

Add chopped chopped coriander leaves & lemon 🍋 juice on cooked rice Put tadka on rice

Taste the lemon 🍋 rice. If needed sprinkle more salt and add more lemon 🍋 juice.
Serve lemon rice with plain yogurt, cucumber 🥒 pachadi, sambhar, papad or pickle.

Heat coconut 🥥 oil in a pan add 1/4 tsp mustard seed when start crackle add curry leaves + red dry chili + chopped onion 🧅 sauté for a mint add chopped cucumber & cook for 1-2 minutes switch off gas

Take beaten yogurt in a bowl add Choi coriander leaves & salt mix it
Pour the tempering on yoghurt mixture. Mix well & keep refrigerator for 1 hr - 9
Serve lemon 🍋 rice with cucumber 🥒 pachadi ; I have little sambhar also so I serve this also

Traditionally peanuts 🥜 are used to add crunch to the dish. If you do not have them just replace with some cashew nuts
