Ingredients

25 minutes
2 serves
  • 3 tbspghee
  • 1 cupfresh tuver dana
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tspajwain or carrom seeds
  • 1/4 cupgreen garlic bulbs, finely chopped
  • 1 tspgreen chilli - ginger paste
  • 1/4 cupgreen garlic stalks, finely chopped
  • 1 pinchgaram masala
  • Chopped green garlic stalks to garnish
  • To serve : Bajra Na Rotla (2 pieces)
  • Lila Lehsan Ni Kadhi (1 bowl)
  • Golpapdi (3 pieces)

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Take tuver dana in a bowl add turmeric powder & salt in it. Pressure cook it with 1 cup of water. Take 4 whistles.

    Open the pressure cooker once the pressure is released & remove the bowl of cooked tuver dana.

    Take ghee in a pan, add ajwain. When ajwain splutters, add finely chopped green garlic whites. Saute till little pinkish in colour.

    Drain the water from the tuver dana. Add cooked tuver dana & green chilli - ginger paste. Mix.

    Add finely chopped green garlic stalks & garam masala. Mix.Cook for 2 - 3 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green garlic stalks.

    Note : Ajwain or carrom seeds are a must in this vegetable as it helps in digestion & does not make one feel blotted up.
