This Ramadan eat healthy way the usual favourites- I made Baked Dahi Vada. We love Dahi Vada but baking it gives lot of softness to the Vada, texture, flavour and taste for sure. Try if you haven’t as yet
Steps

In a bowl add Urad Dal and Moong Dal and soak overnight, drain and add to blender. Add chopped ginger and green chiliies.

Add cumin seeds, salt and water. Blend smooth

Add baking soda and lime juice and mix well. The baking soda will give the softness
- 4
Grease the silicon mould with silicon mould brush and add 1 Tbsp batter. Pre heat oven at 180 deg C and bake for 20 mins

Rest for 10 mins after baking and demould. In a bowl have 1 cup warm water and add hing to it, add the baked Vada’s and keep for 5 mins, press lightly to discard the water and set aside

In a bowl add yogurt and whisk well, add black salt, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, prepared coriander chutney and tamarind chutney, mix, add Vada, soak to soften and yogurt goes inside the vada

Serve a delicious healthy Baked Dahi Vada during this Ramadan and enjoy your Iftar
