Wash cluster beans with water and chop them into desired shape. Boil some water in a cooker with two whistles and let it cool, then drain the water and keep it aside. Also, boil potatoes until they are half-cooked, then chop and keep aside. Cut green chilies vertically. Roast and powder peanuts. Chop onions and make a garlic paste.

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, once they crackle, add potatoes and sauté for 2 minutes, then take them out in a plate. In the same pan, add chopped onions and sauté well, then add garlic paste and sauté for a minute. After that, add green chilies and stir. Immediately add cluster beans (guvar) and mix. Add salt to taste and mix well, then cover and keep for 2 minutes.

Now, add potatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander-cumin powder, and mix well. Then add tomato pieces and mix well. Add the roasted peanuts and stir, cook for 2-3 minutes stirring constantly, then turn off the gas.

Serve hot guvar (cluster beans) sabzi with roti or paratha...

You can also slice the potatoes and fry them in oil, and also make a stir-fry with cluster beans (guvar shing). This way you can make a fried vegetable recipe... At our home, we prefer soft food for our elders, so I made it with partially cooked vegetables."
