Kollu chutney
Steps

Take a wok or pan, add kollu, dry roast it on moderate flame till brown. Allow it to cool down.

Add oil in the same wok or pan, heat it. In goes chana dal & urad dal, stir fry it for 2 minutes.

Add in dry red chilli, garlic & hing, stir fry it for 2 minutes.

Now add tamarind & coconut, stir fry it for 2 minutes. In goes salt & red chilli powder, stir fry it for 2 minutes.

Turn off the flame, take out in a dish, allow it to cool down.

Take a mixer jar, add roasted kollu & fried masala.

Add lil water, grind it, add lil water again, grind it again to Not so fine paste. Take out in a serving bowl, keep aside.

Now take a tadka pan, add oil, heat it. In goes rai & jeera, let it splutter. Add in curry leaves, saute it for 10 sec.

Pour it over the kollu chutney...

Can be served with idli, dosa or rice...
