Ingredients

  1. 1 sheetpuff pastry
  2. 2large eggs
  3. 1 cuplight cream (about 250 ml, 15% fat)
  4. 1 1/4 cupslactose-free milk (about 300 ml)
  5. 5 ozbacon or smoked bacon pieces (about 140 grams)
  6. Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Place the puff pastry in a tart pan without pricking it.

  2. 2

    Add the bacon pieces to a skillet without any added fat and cook for 30 seconds.

  3. 3

    Spread the cooked bacon evenly over the pastry.

  4. 4

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  5. 5

    In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, then add the cream, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  6. 6

    Pour this mixture over the pastry and bacon.

  7. 7

    Bake the quiche for 10-15 minutes, keeping an eye on it until done.

  8. 8
