Ingredients

  1. 1whole catfish fillet
  2. 6-7shrimps
  3. 4-5stems of Thai basil or sawtooth herb
  4. 2tomatoes
  5. 1/2canned chunks pineapple
  6. 1green onion
  7. 1 tbspfried garlic
  8. 2 clovesgarlic
  9. 2 pieceslemongrass
  10. 3 slicesGalangal root
  11. 4 cupswater
  12. 1 tbspchicken bouillon powder
  13. 1 tbspsugar
  14. 3 tsptamarind powder mixed
  15. 1-1/2 tspfish sauce

Cooking Instructions

    Preparations: vegetables,herbs, fish and shrimp

    Stovetop: in a pot add 4 cups water, 2 pieces lemongrass, 2 cloves garlic, 3 slices Galangal bring to a boil: add fish, 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder, 1 tbsp sugar, 3 tsp tamarind powder mixed, 1-1/2 tbsp fish sauce cover and bring to a broil.

    Add: shrimps, pineapple, tomato bring to a boil taste and adjust to your liking, add green onion, Thai basil and fried garlic.

    Serve and enjoy.
