Making a jam bun ("Bukta" in Hungarian) is not at all as complicated as you might think at first. It's worth the effort, have a try you won't regret it. #CA2025
Cooking Instructions

Add all ingredients (apart from jam and egg) to your food processor with dough hook attached, or on a floured surface Knead the dough by hand until dough smooth and leaves the side of the bowl.

Let it rise for 45 minutes. Once it's well risen flatten the dough and cut into 16 equal pieces and form into balls. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.

By hand stretch each balls into approximately 10-12 cm squares, place 1 1/2 tbs of jam in the middle. Fold two sides over then roll them up and place them fold side down onto a lined baking pan.

Cover and let them rest for 20 minutes. Brush them with beaten egg and bake on 190 c for 30 minutes. Let it cool before removing the buns. Ejoy.
