Ingredients

10 minutes
2 servings
  • 100 gmBroken Wheat (Dalia)
  • 5-6Medium Size Potatoes (quantity depends on your hunger)
  • 100 gmLentil (any Daal of your choice, I personally use Lal Masoor the most)
  • 1 SpoonCoconut Powder
  • HalfSpoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 SpoonRock Salt
  • 1 PinchHing Powder
  • Ghee

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Peel and Cut potatoes in small slices and put them in clean pressure cooker after washing them properly with running water

  2. 2

    Add Broken Wheat (Dalia) in the cooker

  3. 3

    Place any 100-200gm Lentil of your choice (I prefer Lal Masoor Dal) in a bowl and wash it properly with water twice before adding it also in the Cooker

  4. 4

    Add 1 Spoon Coconut Powder

  5. 5

    Add Turmeric, Salt & Hing Powder

  6. 6

    Add Water (enough that it comes slightly above all the ingredients in the pressure cooker)

  7. 7

    Mix Well and Close the Lid

  8. 8

    Cook for 10-15 Minutes and turn off the flame.

  9. 9

    Your Wholesome Dalia is ready! You can add Ghee after opening the lid to increase the taste and nutrition of the Dalia. Enjoy!
