Tried to make North Indian (Punjabi) Thali.

For Dal Makhni..... Wash and soak the urad and Rajma for 4-5 hours,after that boil them in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles. Chop the tomato, onion,chilli garlic and ginger. Keep everything ready.

Add butter and oil in a pan. Now add tempting ingredients along with,cloves cinnamon and bay leaf,when they Spluttered add mixture of tomato onion and saute till oil releases. After that add boiled urad,rajma along with all spices, kasuri methi and water. Let it boil,then add fresh cream and adjust the consistency. Lastly add fresh coriander and lemon juice,then switch off the gas. Dal Makhni is ready. Garnish with fresh cream.

Now marking Butter Naan. In the mean time take warm water in a small bowl. Add sugar and yeast mix well and leave for 5 minutes to rise. Now add flour in the mixing bowl. Add salt, oil and kasuri methi in it. Now add yeast mixture and start kneading the dough with required water. Cover the dough with cling film and rest for 15 minutes. After resting the dough, divide in an equal portion and start rolling the naan. Sprinkle fresh coriander and black sesame seeds,press well with water and roast.

When naan is ready, apply butter on it. Now making Jeera Rice... Wash and soak the rice for 5 minutes. Boil the water, add salt butter and Jeera in it. Lastly add rice and cover the pan and let the rice cook on a slow flame till it cooks well and separately.

Serving Time... Take a big Thali. Set the dal Makhni bowl,rice bowl and butter naan. Accompanied with Fresh turmeric,salad bowl,Lassi and ladoo. Enjoy the Punjabi Thali..
