Ingredients

10 minutes
4 bowl
  • 1 cupCurd
  • 1/2 cupMango pulp
  • 2 and 1/2 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoonsJaggery powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonKhada masala powder
  • as per taste Chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonHaldi (turmeric)
  • 1 teaspoonCumin coriander powder
  • as per taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoonOil (for tadka)
  • 1 teaspoonCumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoonMustard seeds
  • 2 pinchesHing (asafoetida)
  • 7 leavesCurry leaves
  • 2 tablespoonsCoriander leaves

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Blend curd and mango pulp in a grinder to make a smooth paste.

    Add water and mix well.

    Pour the mixture into a cooking bowl.

    Add all masala powders, jaggery, and salt. Cook on medium heat for 7 minutes, stirring.

    Heat oil in a small pan. Add cumin and mustard seeds.

    When mustard seeds crackle, add hing and curry leaves.

  7. 7

    Pour the tadka over the curry and cover with a lid.

  8. 8

    Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.

Tips

Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of jaggery according to your taste.
