Vegetable Pulao
Every Sunday I lay aside all the gluten free and vegan type meals, and make a nice Indian curry and serve it with some rice. I always am on the look out for different rice recipes just so I don't serve up some yummy Indian curry with plain white rice. It does get boring after a while. I have made peas pulao in the past (click here for Peas Pulao recipe), so decided I would take it up a notch and make a Pulao with a few more veggies!

First up, wash two cups of rice, and cook it in 4 cups of water. Once you have sliced and diced all the veggies, heat the ghee in a large pan

Add the sliced onions, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves and the cumin seeds, and saute until the onions begin to turn brown

Next add the veggies and the garlic paste. Add salt and mix well

Cover and cook on low heat until the veggies are soft
- 5
The last step, add the cooked rice and mix gently to combine so that you don't mush the veggies or the rice

Serve hot with a veg or non-veg curry
