Tropical Granola Bars with Dates

Granola bars are a great snack especially when the sweet tooth and cravings kick in. These granola bars are filled with tonnes of good stuff including dried tropical fruits like paw paw and pineapple.
They are so easy to make, you will never want to buy granola bars again! These keep well in the fridge for a few weeks.
Tropical Granola Bars with Dates
Granola bars are a great snack especially when the sweet tooth and cravings kick in. These granola bars are filled with tonnes of good stuff including dried tropical fruits like paw paw and pineapple.

Steps

Boil dates for 15 mins, then remove and grind in processor.

Separate nuts from tropical fruits and process until small pieces.

Combine all ingredients in a big bowl and mix well. The mixture will be tough and sticky.

Turn mixture onto a wax paper lined shallow baking pan about 9"x6".

Bake for 30 mins.

When cooled, remove granola from pan and wax paper gently and cut into squares or bars.
