Hello friends, hope you all are enjoying long weekend. Today I am here with a tempting recipe for everyone. The name itself tempts everyone so much but when it's turn to eat thinking about the calories counting ingredients added many have started avoiding it. It's one junk food that kids start saying wow just after listening name only. But here I have tried it making in healthy way by making base at home with whole wheat flour.
Making base with this recipe is quite easy and with very less efforts it gets ready soon. As this dough needs single rise it's quick to make. When I tried making this for the last time by the time I made the toppings ready my first batch of bases were ready. So this is pretty easy. If you are new to bread making then I will tell you that kneading of dough is very important, the more you knead softer the dough gets n so is your bread. Choose the toppings of your choice and enjoy this yummy junk food without guilt.
This base is completely made with whole wheat and with less quantity of oil base is soft and crispy and no where chewy like market ones. You won't feel heavy after eating this and that is why I prefer these. Unlike market ones I prefer chopping my vegetables into small pieces so that my perky eaters cannot takeout veggies out of pizza. For toppings I prefer using Amul cheese spread and onion , capsicum, tomatoes, olives , corns and grated Amul cheese gives best results according to our choice. So what are you waiting for try this out supe...

Steps

20 mins
  1. 1

Take whole wheat flour in a big plate add instant dry yeast, sugar, oregano seasoning and salt. Mix well and add warm water slowly and make soft sticky dough.

  2. 2

Add oil in batches mix and knead well for two minutes.

  3. 3

Rest the dough for 5 minutes covered.

  4. 4

Again knead the dough for 5 minutes. Dough should be soft and non sticky now.

  5. 5

Divide the dough in 8 equall sized balls.

  6. 6

Rest the dough balls covered for 10 minutes.

  7. 7

Start preheat oven to 180 degrees

  8. 8

Lighty dust your board n roll out a ball into a thin circle with a rolling pin, prick it with fork, brush top with little milk. Put bases on lined baking sheet. I made 4 small bases at one go.

  9. 9

Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree for 10 min or till base is lightly brown in Color.

  10. 10

Now at this stage either you can cool and store for later use or just top it immediately with cheese spread, pizza sauce, cut vegetables and grated cheese and again bake at 180 degree for another 8-10 minutes or till top cheese melts and base gets crispy.
