Ingredients

4-6 servings
  1. 4-6large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  2. 12 ouncescream cheese
  3. 1/2 cupmilk
  4. 6 ozjar marinated artichoke hearts
  5. 1 tablespoonsmoked garlic powder
  6. 1 tablespoondried basil
  7. 1/2 teaspoondried red pepper flakes
  8. 1 cupParmesan cheese
  9. Salt and pepper

Steps

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. 2

    Heat a large skillet over medium high heat with a little oil.

  3. 3

    Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

    Sear the chicken on both sides until browned (do in 2 batches if necessary)

  5. 5

    Place the chicken in a large baking dish.

  6. 6

    In the skillet, turned down to medium low heat...place the milk, cream cheese and spices. Whisk or stir until heated through and smooth consistency.

  7. 7

    Drain 1/2 of the artichoke marinade. Chop up the artichokes into smaller pieces and add them with the liquid to the cheese.

  8. 8

    Take the sauce off the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese.

  9. 9

    Spoon the artichoke sauce over the chicken, covering each piece completely.

  10. 10

    Bake uncovered for 25-35 minutes (depending on the thickness of your chicken).

  11. 11

    You may also turn to broil for a few minutes at the end for a bit of browning.

  12. 12

    Let rest a few minutes before serving.
