First soak the mungdal for 1 hour.

Now take a pan and put the ghee.

Wen it becomes hot add heeng and jeera.

Let it splutter

Now add chopped garlic and ginger and green chilli..

Fry it for ½ min.

Wen garlic becomes golden brown add chopped onion.

Cook it for 5 min.

Dein add all spices.and cook for 1 min.

Now add chopped tomato.

Cook it for 5 min add water..

Boil it once..And drain the water from dal.

Now add dal and crushed papad in the water.

And cook it till water soaked..

Check the dal to press it between Your fingers...Wen it becomes soft..It means it is done..

If it's hard dein cook it for sometime..If u need more water dein add it according to requirement..

When it cooked add lemon juice and green Coriander if u want and serve it with chapati...
