Momma B's Sweet Potato Casserole

My Mother-in-law was an amazing cook, through the years I would ask her to share her recipes with me and she always would say there is nothing to it and tell me the ingredients. With this recipe she gave me a pen & paper, opened her recipe book and shared. Momma Barrett passed in February. Friends, I'm sharing this recipe in her Honor. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

This is always a staple at our Thanksgiving table. You can either top it with mini marshmallows or a crunchy pecan struesel...we usually cut the struesel recipe in half and do half the casserole with the struesel and half with the marshmallows. This can also be made ahead of time (minus the topping)...see step 5 to see those instructions. Christina -
