Ingredients

  1. 2 canGarbanzo beans (chickpeas)
  2. 1Red pepper
  3. 1Green pepper
  4. 2eggs
  5. 1/2 cupCrackers
  6. onion powder
  7. greek seasoning
  8. garlic powder
  9. 1 cupDaiya dairy free vegan cheese
  10. flour
  11. Earthbalance vegan butter (lactose free)
  12. hot peppers (optional)
  13. 1/8 tspBhut jolokia pepper (powder)
  14. 1/2 tspHabanero powder (or 1 habanero pepper)
  15. 1/2 tspJalapeño powder (or 1 jalapeño pepper)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Drain, and mash Garbanzo beans. In a seperate container, mill the crackers to a powder. Set aside.

    Core and slice Red and green peppers. ** if you are adding habanero/jalapeño peppers, chop them up and add them with the red and green peppers.

    Mix all the chopped peppers to the garbanzo beans. Add eggs, crackers, and cheese. Mix well.

    Add in the greek seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and bhut jolokia. Mix well.

  5. 5

    form patties and coat them with flour on both sides. then bake them in a little butter until they are slightly crispy. Enjoy.

The stuff i cook is vegan, and do substitute to what i eat, because of allergies etc some may be old. i am on a rx meal plan not allowed to use food with lactose/treenuts.
