[ youtu.be/j5y3RVj0HfM ] Bulgogi is suitable to be shared with friends and family during a grilling season on a hot summer day out with the grill or cooked on a grilling pan or frying pan indoor. It can easily be served with steamed rice or as a sandwich with some vegetables(lettuce, cucumber..) of your choice. If leftover, it can be placed in the freezer for when you next want to eat it. Beef Bulgogi (불고기) Beef Bulgogi (불고기)
Here's my own bulgogi recipe. Any thinly sliced cut of beef can be used (this time I used brisket/short plate), and the recipe works with pork or even chicken. Korean nashi pears have a flavour that is kinda halfway between a regular pear and an apple so an apple like a red gala can be a reasonable substitute. It's used to tenderise the meat, but it takes time to work... I initially tried to cook it after only one hour and the meat was still quite tough. Maybe pineapple might be more effective but I hear one needs to be careful with it. 🇰🇷 蛟龍Stormwyrm
