This is such a popular sweet from mathura and I had tasted it when I went for a trip during my school days. I could not find that taste anywhere so finally I decided to make it at home and it was simply amazing.

This is such a popular sweet from mathura and I had tasted it when I went for a trip during my school days. I could not find that taste anywhere so finally I decided to make it at home and it was simply amazing.

Heat the khoya in a nonstick pan and keep stirring it. Cook on a medium flame, for 10 minutes while continuously stirring it, till it gets little colored.

Keep the cooked khoya aside. Now boil the sugar with 1/4 th cup of water till it forms a one string consistency.

Now add the liquid glucose into the sugar syrup and give it a mix. Remove from the flame. Now add the cooked khoya into the sugar syrup and mix it. Transfer it into a bowl and let it cool for sometime.

Now make small pedas out of it and coat with Castor sugar.
