Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1/2 cuphoney
  2. 1/3 cupsoy sauce (I use reduced sodium)
  3. 1/4 cupdry sherry
  4. 1 tspginger (powder)
  5. 1/2 tspminced garlic
  6. 1 tsplemon juice
  7. 3 tbspoil
  8. 1/4 tsppepper

Steps

  1. 1

    In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients.

  2. 2

    Mix well.

  3. 3

    Pour into a 9 X 13 inch pan or a large zip lock bag.

  4. 4

    Add 2 pounds or so of your favorite meat, seafood, or poultry.

  5. 5

    Stir to coat.

  6. 6

    Cover and marinate all day or overnight in the refrigerator (if using shrimp, marinate for a few hours), stirring/turning occasionally.

  7. 7

    Remove the meat from the marinade and discard the marinade.

  8. 8

    You can now thread the meat on skewers with your favorite vegetables. (Onions, mushrooms, peppers, etc.)

  9. 9

    Grill over medium high to high heat, a few minutes per side for beef/lamb, but a bit longer for chicken/seafood, until browned and veggies are tender.

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
