Ingredients

4 servings
  • 4lean Porkchops, any style
  • 8 cloveGarlic, chopped
  • 1 tspground Sage
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  • 4 largeVidalia onions (preferred)
  • 1/2 cupChicken broth

Steps

1 hour
  1. 1

    Mix garlic, sage, salt and pepper in small cup. Should be sticky.

  2. 2

    Slice up the onions, set aside.

  3. 3

    Brown chops in 1 tsp. oil over high heat, turning once.

  4. 4

    Reduce heat. Add garlic mix to top of chops.

    Add sliced onions on top. Pour broth in bottom of pan. Cover.

  6. 6

    Braise for 40 mins. on low heat.

  7. 7

    Remove lid, raise heat and reduce liquid somewhat for 10 mins. Serve.
