My youngest son's great grandmother, Viola Ritter gave me this recipe. I never can remember if they're called "Lady fingers" or "Lunch Fingers" so I went with the latter.

My youngest son's great grandmother, Viola Ritter gave me this recipe. I never can remember if they're called "Lady fingers" or "Lunch Fingers" so I went with the latter.

Ingredients

  1. 2 cupbrown Sugar
  2. 2 cubesbutter
  3. 2Eggs
  4. 1 tspVanilla
  5. 2 cupFlour
  6. 2 tspBaking Powder
  7. 1/2 tspSalt
  8. 1 1/2 cupsChopped Walnuts
  9. 2 cupsPowdered Sugar

Cooking Instructions

    Spread Cookie Bar dough evenly in an oiled 9"× 13" glass pan. I spread with spatula as much as I can. Then wash hands and rinse. Pat cookie dough evenly in pan with wet hand.

    Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes. Then cut into 4 to 8 big pieces and remove from pan.

    Cool a few minutes and cut into small rectangular bars.

  4. 4

    Cool for approximately 5 minutes more and then roll each bar in powdered sugar and layer on serving plate or dish.

they are called lady fingers by the way lol but it's your recipe you can call it what you like
