Wanted something sweet, looked in my pantry and had one box of cake mix but no eggs to make it. Thought i would try something different and had some can peaches so mixed them together and WOW!!!! I was surprised at how delicious it came out.

This is one of my go to desserts to make for a gathering! It is so quick and easy to prepare. Delicious on its own, and even better served with vanilla ice cream!

A friend of my mom's gave me this recipe. My kids call it a cake cobbler. I have used apple, cherry & blueberry pie filling for this also. This will make just a small pan, like the picture, but can be doubled or tripled to make more.

I wanted use up the peach compote and spongecake I made.I made a spongecake with a 18 cm square cake tin with a quantity of batter for a 18 cm round cake tin. I sliced the sponge to make this mousse cake.3 slices of spongecake cut 1 cm thick will be enough to make this. You can use any cake mould to make the sponge cake and just line the mould with sliced sponge cake. Recipe by Pu-kosan
