Cooking Instructions

preheat oven for 375 after heated place biscuits in the oven

in a large frying pan cook sausage until fully cooks and set aside out of grease.

in a med sauces pan melt butter when fully melted add in flour. mix until flour is fully coated and you result in jus clumps of buttered flour.

next stir in heavy whipping cream and stir to dissolve the buttered flour as you stir add the 2 cups of milk continue to stir until desired thickness then add honey to desired sweetness.

After it is all done add in your sausage salt and pepper to taste I use about 3 teaspoons of each mix all really well then ready to serve on top of your biscuits. ENJOY!!!!

I first fell in love with this hearty brunch meal moving to the Mid West when I was younger. The restaurant I had it in was never replicated in flavor at any other establishment or recipe I came across. I've tried duplicating that recipe many, many times. This still honestly isn't close but it is full of flavor. I use pinch terminology in my ingredients as the spices should just be back notes and not prominent. I honestly don't know how I came across this. I found out that the gravy tastes better when made with bacon grease a while back (yea that's right, the more bacon the better) and then just started tweaking the spices. Pretty much ended up with this! ChrisJackson8706 -
