BBQ chicken noodles
A warm hearty meal, that doesn't cost a lot and keeps everyone happy
Steps
- 1
Using fresh chicken, chop into suitable sized chunks. Place in the BBQ marinade, add a small pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Leave for fifteen minutes.
- 2
Take a saucepan and fill with hot water from the kettle. Bring to a good rolling boil and add the noodles into the water. Again add salt and pepper to taste.
- 3
Add a splash of oil to a non stick pan and have it on high heat. Once the oil is hot enough add the chicken. Be very careful when adding the chicken as the oil will spit.
- 4
Keep stirring and moving the chicken so it evenly cooks and doesn't stick to the pan. Once the chicken is fully cooked lower the heat of the chicken and strain off the noodles.
- 5
On a medium to high heat add in the strained noodles, top with honey, more BBQ sauce and a splash of soy, quickly mix all together to evenly coat both the chicken and the noodles.
- 6
Cook until all the chicken and noodles are soft and moist, add more BBQ, honey and soy, this will add more flavour and taste to your dish.
- 7
Once happy with the taste of your dish, serve on warm plates, top with a pinch of pepper.
