Moongi Dhuli with Rice

Ingredients

3 -4 pax
  1. 1 bowldaal (moongi dhuli)
  2. 4 bowlswater
  3. 1/2 tspJeera
  4. To tastesalt
  5. 1/4 tsphaldi
  6. 1large onion
  7. 1medium Tomato
  8. 1/2 pcsred chilli dried
  9. 1/4 tbspgaram masala
  10. 2 tbspghee/oil
  11. 1 tspgarlic and ginger
  12. 1Green chilli

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and boil daal with salt and haldi in cooker 1 whistle is enough

  2. 2

    On the other hand in a wok put some oil for saute and saute chilli (green), garlic and ginger

  3. 3

    Add onions when translucent add tomato

  4. 4

    Add this taddka to boiled daal and cook for approx 5 mins

  5. 5

    In a small taddka pan put oil and jeera when Jeera splinter add to daal

  6. 6

    Now add some oil and red chilli when brown add it to daal

  7. 7

    Add garam masala in the end

  8. 8

    Boil rice

  9. 9

    Daal and rice is good to serve when hot.
