Heat oil in a larg saucepan over medium heat. Add onions, sure until tende, 4 minutes. Add garlic, cook 1 minute,or until softened. Stir in 2 tsp. Chili powde, cumin, , oregano and pepper. Add meat, cook 3 minutes, or until no longe pink, stirring to crumble.

Irene 3-4 chipotle chiles canned in adobo sauce. Stir chiles, tomatoes and remaining chili powder into meat. Add beer and broth. Bring to simmer, cook uncovered, 2 hours, stirring ocassionally.

Before serving, stir in beans. Let heat. Taste and adjust seasonings. Serves 8.
