Steps
- 1
At first heat some vegetable oil in a wok and add the chopped onions.
- 2
Fry them until golden brown. Keep it aside
- 3
Now marinate the chicken with the yogurt, almond paste, coriander leaves, cumin powder, red chilli powder, dhania powder, garam masala powder, turmeric, salt and the fried onions along with ginger garlic paste and the coconut milk and some vegetable oil.
- 4
For better results marinate it overnight or minimum for 2hours.
- 5
Heat a pan and simply put the chicken mixture in it. Cover it with a lid in a low flame for at least 30minutes
- 6
Uncover the lid and stir it and check whether the chicken has become tender.
- 7
If not then again cover it for 10minutes. If required add some lukewarm water.
- 8
Add the lemon juice and the ghee. Mix it well. Check the salt. Here you may add a pinch of sugar if you wish. That's totally optional.
- 9
Remove it from the flame and serve hot.
