My grandma would always make peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. One day she combined the two recipes and it's now everyone's favorite!

My grandma would always make peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies. One day she combined the two recipes and it's now everyone's favorite!
Steps

Preheat oven to 365°F

Cream together brown sugar and shortening(crisco), then add in eggs until evenly mixed

Mix together the other dry ingredients in a separate bowl
- 4
Add in the mixed dry ingredients gradually until evenly blended
- 5
Last, mix in the peanut butter and then chocolate chips
- 6
Use a spoon to scoop cookies onto an ungreased baking sheet( do not roll dough into balls) and bake for 9-10mins. This is a double recipe so cut ingredients in half if you don't want a few batches.

Cookies will still be gooey when you take them out of the oven, so let them sit for 5 minutes before transferring to cooling rack
