Ingredients

  • 200 gmWhole moong
  • 2Green chilli
  • 1 pieceGinger small
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 teaspoonSugar
  • 1 tablespoonOil
  • 1/2 teaspoonBaking soda
  • To temper
  • 1 table spoonOil
  • 1/2 teaspoonMustard
  • 1/2 teaspoonTil
  • 1/4 teaspoonHing
  • 2Split green chilies

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak whole moong for 3 hours.

  2. 2

    Grind it along with green chilli and ginger adding water

  3. 3

    Rest the batter for 30 mins.

  4. 4

    Then add half teaspoon baking soda

  5. 5

    Mix well and immediately pour in a greased plate.

  6. 6

    Steam cook for 15 mins

  7. 7

    Give temper with oil,til,hing and split green chillies.
