Cover lentils with water 3 cups of water - 1 cup dried lentils. and cook. Once lentils are cooked you need to whisk it so its broken down nicely

Once this is done you can use a hand blender in it.

Check for the water consistancy as it needs to be a bit runny once this is ready you can add the salt

You need a pan with high sides or a wok will do add the the clarified butter Ghee

Chop the garlic and the chilli

Have the mustard seeds tumetic. Hing. Chilli. Garlic. Corriander leaves and curry leaves ready

When the lentils are cooked check the water consistency as it needs to be a little runny. Takes 15 - 20 minutes to cook on boiling and blended

This is called Tempering. Add the ghee butter to the wok when its hot add the garlic, chilli. Mustard seeds. Corriander seeds

Add the lentil mush quickly and mix in and then add the tumeric.

Serve hot with Basmatti rice or any other foods as a an acompanyment
