Ingredients

  1. 1lauki
  2. 1onion
  3. 1tomato
  4. 1potato
  5. To tastesalt
  6. To tastered chili powder
  7. to tastecorriander powder
  8. to tasteturmeric powder
  9. 2 tbspoil
  10. 1 tspjeera
  11. leavescorriander
  12. 2 tbspbesan

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and cut lauki into rings as shown in pic

  2. 2

    Boil these rings for a minute or two (do not boil too much)

    Reserve the centre cutouts of lauki for stuffing

  4. 4

    For stuffing take a pan, put oil and cumin seeds.. once it crackles then add finely chopped onion

  5. 5

    Cook it till becomes light pink

  6. 6

    Add the cutouts of lauki

  7. 7

    Add a pinch of salt for fastening the process

  8. 8

    Now add finely chopped tomato

  9. 9

    Put redchilli turmeric and corriander powder to it

  10. 10

    Let it cook for another 5 minutes

    Now put boiled and mashed potato

  12. 12

    Let it cook for 2 minutes

  13. 13

    Put the flame off and garnish with corriander leaves

  14. 14

    Stuff the centres of lauki with this stuffing

  15. 15

    Make a very thin watery paste with besan and water

  16. 16

    Put salt and redchilly powder to it

  17. 17

    Dip the stuffed lauki in the paste and shallow fry them from both sides

  18. 18

    You can serve it with some gravy or dal
