I have made this soup for my grandmother. She is diabetic and eating such food it's good for her health. I like it too cause it uses less spices and less oil too.

I have made this soup for my grandmother. She is diabetic and eating such food it's good for her health. I like it too cause it uses less spices and less oil too.

Sometimes sugar beans needs to be clean thoroughly cause you can find small stones and if not clean you will cook and eat stone and hurt your teeth.

I clean it and rinse it more than 3 to 4 times then boil till softened.

As it is boiling I now and check that are soft if not I add water until soft.

I then chop onion and interesting I pour it over the beans not a drop of oil, it will soften by the heat and those little water that cookes the beans.

I then add beef stock and cover the pot, for a while then spice the beans soup and stir. again cover it.

In a small cup I mix the water with soup that is beef and brown onion.

Pour it over the sugar beans and lower the heat cover the pot with a lid then soup thickens and it ready to be served for now will serve me with a pinch of chilli flakes
