Ingredients

  1. 100 gmRaw Turmeric, peeled and ground
  2. 100 gmJaggery
  3. 75 gmWhole Wheat flour
  4. 75 gmGhee
  5. 200 millilitersmilk
  6. 1 cupMixed Fry fruits

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat 2 tbsp Ghee. Roast wheat flour for 5-7 minutes till golden brown. Remove and take aside.

  2. 2

    Heat remaining Ghee and roast turmeric on medium flame for 10 minutes till raw flavour evaporates.

  3. 3

    As ghee separates, add flour and mix well.
    Add milk and stir. Add mashed jaggery and mix well.

  4. 4

    Continue heating till mixture is consistent for 4-5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add dry fruits and mix well.

    Serve kachi haldi ka halwa hot.
