Ingredients

20 minutes
  1. 500 gmstender jackfruit (from a large unripe jackfruit)
  2. 1/4 cupchana dal/split chikpeas
  3. 3 tbspoatmeal
  4. 1 tbspflax seeds
  5. 1 tspblack pepper
  6. 1medium size onion
  7. 2-3green chillies
  8. 1 tbsproasted coriander seeds
  9. 2 tbsplemon juice
  10. Handfulfresh coriander leaves
  11. 2-3 tbspoil
  12. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Remove thick skin of jackfruit, make big cubes, wash n put it in a pressure cooker

  2. 2

    Soak chana dal for half an hour, add soaked lentils too with jackfruit

  3. 3

    Add salt, whole pepper along with 1 cup water and pressure cook.

  4. 4

    Switch off the gas after 3 whistle

  5. 5

    When cool drain excess water.

  6. 6

    Grind to a coarse paste.

  7. 7

    Roast oats on medium flame for 5 minutes crush it with fingers when cool.

    Grate ginger, chop green chillies, onion and coriander leaves very fine.

    Dry roast coriander seeds, pound or make coarse powder.

  10. 10

    Dry roast flax seeds, powder it.

  11. 11

    Mix jackfruit paste, chopped onion, green chillies, grated ginger, coriander leaves, crushed coriander seeds, flax seeds powder, lemon juice and salt.

    Mix everything very well.

    Shape them as per your liking.

    Heat up oil in a pan fry kebabs on medium heat until golden brown.

    Serve with mint chutney or sauce or as it is.
