Marinate chicken with oil, salt and pepper.

Add water in a saucepan, along with garlic, ginger, peppercorns, chopped celery and preserved vegetable. Heat until boiling. Add marinated chicken breast for three mins or until cooked.

Take chicken out of the pot and shred it. Add rice into the pot and cook until reboiled again. Lower the heat.

Season with more salt then serve in a bowl topped with shredded chicken, white pepper and minced fried garlic for better aroma
