Cream together shortening, butter, white and brown sugar.

Add the eggs and vanilla

Mix flour, salt and baking soda together and stir into creamed mixture.

Add chocolate chips

Roll dough into balls and place on cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Bake @ 375* for 9 - 10 minutes, when done let cool.
