Ingredients

1 3/4 c.flour
1 tsp.baking soda
1/2 c.shortening
1/2 c.peanut butter
1/2 c.brown sugar
1/2 c.white sugar
1egg
2 tbsp.milk
1 tsp.vanilla

Steps

Mix flour, baking soda aand salt together.

Cream together shortening, peanut butter, brown and white sugar together.

Add eggs, milk and vanilla.

Mix well and then add dry ingredients.

Shape into rounded balls and roll in sugar.

Place on cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Bake @ 375* for 8 minutes, remove from oven and place a candy kiss on top of each cookie pressing down so that each cookie cracks around the edges.

Return to oven and 2 - 5 minutes longer.
