Salmon with apple and herb beurre blanc Salmon with apple and herb beurre blanc
My family loves pan-seared salmon. Normally, we enjoy it with a brown butter and caper sauce, but this time I decided to try something different. We had bunches of fresh, sweet herbs in the fridge, and I had a hunch they'd work well with a little leftover apple juice. It took a little (okay, a lot) of butter, plus a splash of cream to bring it together, but in the end the sauce turned out really delicious. Its slight sweetness complemented the fish beautifully. Pan-Grilled Blue Marlin with Beurre Blanc Sauce Pan-Grilled Blue Marlin with Beurre Blanc Sauce
This is a slightly fancier variation to the other blue marlin recipe I wrote about a while back. The sauce should be consumed immediately, or at the very least kept warm for up to an hour. Normal recipe for Beurre Blanc includes a shallot but again Mrs Wyrm has problems with that thanks to the aftermath of Covid-19 so it's been omitted. Add a finely minced one to the sauce is you like. Fermented Honey Garlic Fermented Honey Garlic
This is probably the easiest fermented recipe ever! I have taken care to create a very detailed recipe to ensure your success. Fermentation is a long process that takes commitment, and care. If you love garlic you will love this! If you don't love garlic you might even still love this! Imagine the taste of candied garlic in a honey syrup! Use raw local honey if you can, otherwise any raw unfiltered honey will work. This Fermented Honey garlic is said to be good for soothing sore throat, fighting colds, and boosting immunity. Don't take my word for it, do a little research. 😊 Bayou Cajun Mama -
