Ingredients

  • 1 kgchicken
  • 250 gmsyogurt
  • 2 inchginger paste
  • 10 clovesgarlic paste
  • 2 tspred chill powder
  • 1 tsptermaric powder
  • 3 tspcoriander powder
  • 2big onions chopped & brown fried
  • 2 tspblack pepper powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • leavesCoriander
  • leavesMint
  • 2 tspGrated coconut
  • 3lime
  • 4 tspoil
  • 5-5almonds & cashews paste

Steps

  1. 1

    Squeeze lime upon the washed chicken. Mix all ingredients with chicken. Crush fried onions and mix everything well. Let it marinate for 4 hours in fridge.

    Empty into a heavy based utensil and cook at high flame for 5 minutes. Lower the flame and cook for another 15-20 minutes covered with a lid.

    Put off the gas and put a catori with a burning coal. Pour 1/2 tsp of ghee on the coal. Let it smoke and again cover the for another 5 minutes.

    Serve hot
