My mala pancakes. I like the thickness

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.

Add the tablespoon of oil and rub it in well

Add the egg and mix well with a fork

Add the mala and mix just until the ingredients are combined. Do not over mix. A few lumps in the batter are allowed.

Place your pan on the fire and add some oil.

Wait until it is hot enough and then scoop 1/4 cup onto the pan.

Give the pancake 30 seconds to cook before turning it.

Turn the pancake when you see bubbles on top. Let the other side cook.

Turn down the heat to keep the pan from over heating.

Prepare the remaining pancakes.

Serve with jam.
