Pour 1 cups water in a small saucepan and bring it to boil over medium flame.

Take suji in a heavy based pan, add ghee.

Stir and mix using spatula.

Roast it untill golden brown.

Reduce flame to low.

Stir and cook to avoid any lump formation.

Increase flame to medium cook untill all water gets absorbed.

Stir until sugar dissolves and it has a semi solid consistency.

The suji halwa is now ready for serving.
