Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cuproasted cashews
  2. 1/2 cupkhoya or milk powder
  3. 1/2 cupchopped onions
  4. 1/2 cupchopped tomatoes
  5. 1 cuppaneer cubes
  6. 1/2 cupcream
  7. 1 teaspoonkasoori methi
  8. 1 tablespoonchilli, ginger and garlic paste
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric
  11. 1 teaspoonchilli powder
  12. 1 teaspoongaram masala
  13. 1 handfulcoriander leaves
  14. 1 tablespooncumin powder

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan roast cashews and leave aside

    In a food processor add tomatoes, coriander,onion, cream, ginger, garlic,green chilli,kasoori methi, khoya and 1:4 cup cashews. Blitz it to a paste.

    In a pan add oil and cumin seeds. Once the oil is hot add the paste and let it cook for a minute. Add turmeric, chilli powder, salt, garam masala and cumin powder. Cover and let it cook for few minutes until the oil leaves sides. Add water if necessary.

    Add the cashews and paneer and let it cook for another 5 minutes.

    Serve in a dish and garnish.

Hi all, my name is Rekha. I am Indian by birth, born in Uganda, East Africa, I now live in Wilby, Northamptonshire/England.I retired at the age of 60 due to severe arthritis. I am married, a mother and grandmother.I learnt to cook from my parents at a very young age of seven. I started to cook simple dishes for the family and gradually learnt how to cook. My mum use to cook at our shop where we sold Indian sweets and savouries. I have learnt a lot from my mum. I started cooking fusion dishes and learning from others. My strong point is making sweet dishes and innovating new dishes. I can improvise and be creative in leftover dishes.I love being on Cookpad because I can share and learn new recipes. I have also made a lot of friends.
