Drain beans. Save water from one can to add back in if mixture is too thick. Shell beans if desired for smoother texture.

Chop garlic, tomatillo, jalapeño and avocado.

Juice lime.

Combine all ingredients in bowl and mix with immersion blender until desired consistency is reached or use food processor. Add garbanzo water back to reach desired consistency.
