Wash and peel carrots. Cut in slices.

Take a pan and heat oil in it. Add asafetida, mustard seeds and then saunf.

Then add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder. Mix well.

Add imli pulp and sugar and mix well. Now add carrots and cook it for 5 mins without covering the pan.

Let it cool for few minutes. Khatti meethi gazar is ready to serve.
