Ingredients

  1. 1 cupMoong dal
  2. 1 cupSugar
  3. 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  4. 1/2 cup choppedDry fruits
  5. 4 tablespoonDesi ghee
  6. 1 cupMilk
  7. 7-8 strandsSaffron
  8. 1/2 cupKhoya

Cooking Instructions

    Soak moong dal for 4-5 hours

  2. 2

    Wash and grind it to a coarse paste

  3. 3

    Heat ghee in a non stick pan

  4. 4

    Add the daal paste

  5. 5

    Cook it until dry completely and takes the form like suji

  6. 6

    Soak saffron in milk

  7. 7

    Add milk and 1 cup water and mix well

  8. 8

    Cook till thickened

  9. 9

    Add chopped dry fruits and cardamom powder and sugar

  10. 10

    Add khoya and mix well till oil separates

  11. 11

    Garnish with dry fruits and serve
