Shredded Beef Burritos 🌯

Burritos are one of the street foods you can find everywhere in Chihuahua, Mexico. They're sold at street stalls and by people with coolers outside workplaces. They're the easiest and quickest meal to take to work, available with various fillings like stuffed peppers, which are a delight, as well as shredded beef in red sauce, my favorites. You can also find them with pork cracklings, among many others, and of course, the classic beans with melted cheese. Today, I'm making these burritos, which I also love since I can't eat spicy foods at the moment.

Cooking Instructions

Warm the tortillas and fill each one with all the ingredients (beef, 1/2 avocado sliced, onion, tomato, your choice of salsa, and lettuce) spread from end to end. Roll them up and serve. You can cut them for easier eating.

If you want them for lunch, it's convenient to have the beef boiled the day before. Just heat it up the next morning. Also, cut and disinfect the lettuce, storing it in water to prevent browning. Chop the tomato and onion in the morning when you're ready to prepare them.
