In a bowl mix 1 tbsp oats powder, 1/2 cup warm water, 1 tbsp sugar, 25 gms yeast granules and mix well. Cover it with silver foil for 15 minutes to let the yeast activate. Once the mixture gets bubbly or foamy it is ready to be used.

In a bowl add 250 gms oats powder, activated yeast, 1 tbsp butter, salt as per taste and mix well. Add normal water to form a dough. Keep this dough in a bowl, cover with a moist muslin cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes till the dough doubles in size.

Then push the dough several times using fingers to remove all the air. Make 4 balls from the dough.

Place the balls in baking tray greased with homemade butter. These should be some space between the balls to allow them to rise. Again cover with moist muslin cloth & cover for 30 minutes.

Then apply butter on the dough using brush. Sprinkle some white sesame seeds & melon seeds (magaj). Place the tray in pre-heated oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Remove & serve hot.
