Take all the ingredients of making cover in a large mixing bowl mix it well and make a medium soft dough using lukewarm water. Keep it a side for minimum 20 minutes.

For alu mater mixer take grated potatoes in a bowl add salt, boiled peas, pieces of cashews and raisins, red chilli powder, ginger paste and mix it.

For cheese stuffing - Take grated potatoes in a bowl add salt, chilli flakes, mixed herbs, garlic paste, grated carrot and grated cheese in it and mix it.

Bite a piece of ready cover dough and fill both stuffing in it. And pack it. Make small balls.

Heat Appam pan on low flame put all this baties in it. Cover it and cook on medium flame by flipping it. Cook it till golden brown from all the sides.

Remove from pan and add in melted pure ghee before serving.

Serve hot with dal.Or you can serve it with chutney or sauce if you like.
